Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost with Nailed Web?
$50, one time. That covers building your pages, writing the words, adding your photos and a contact form, putting it live on your domain, and changes for the first 30 days. Hosting ($5/mo) and later changes ($5 each) are optional.
Do I have to pay monthly?
Nope. $50 is the only required cost. Hosting at $5/mo is optional. Want to self-manage? I'll sign everything over (site files, domain, any accounts) at no extra charge.
Do I need a website if I already have a Google Business Profile?
Keep your Google Business Profile; it matters a lot for local searches. A website backs it up with more detail about your services and work, gives customers a place to see photos and request a quote, and gives you a link you control. The two work best together.
Can I just use Facebook instead?
Facebook is fine for keeping in touch, but not everyone uses it, it's harder for Google to read, and you don't control it. A simple website you own is a steadier home base, and you can link the two.
Is the domain name included?
Yes. Your first year of domain (a standard .com) is on us, included in the $50, and registered in your name. After year one you renew it yourself, straight with the registrar. You never pay me for it.
Who owns my website and domain?
You do. Your domain, your words, your photos. It's yours. Want to run it yourself? I'll sign everything over (site files, domain, any accounts) at no charge.
How long does it take?
Fast. Your free demo site gets built and sent within an hour of your first message, before you pay anything. Pay $50 and your site goes live within 60 minutes. One honest note: a brand-new domain can take a little while (sometimes a few hours) to show up everywhere.
What do I need to give you?
Your business name, phone number, the services you offer, the towns you cover and some photos of your work. Phone photos are fine: email them, or send a Google Photos or iCloud share link, along with any ideas for your site. I'll write the rest and run it by you.
Can you update the site later?
Yes. Changes are included for the first 30 days. After that it's $5 per change request (new photos, new services, changed hours), only when you ask. Or update it yourself.
Do you build websites for tradespeople in any state?
Yes. Everything is done online by form, text and email, so it doesn't matter where you work. If you're a tradesperson anywhere in the US, Nailed Web can build your site.
Will a website get me on Google?
It helps a lot. Each site is set up with clear page titles, a sitemap and business details Google can read. Getting found also depends on your Google Business Profile and reviews, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction there.
How much does a website for a small trades business cost?
With Nailed Web, $50 total, with your first year of domain included. Agency-built sites often cost far more. A simple trades site needs a few clear pages, your photos, a quote form and tap-to-call, and that's what you get. Hosting ($5/mo) is optional.
Is a $50 website any good for a trades business?
Yes, if it's built for your trade and kept up to date. A Nailed Web site is a few clear pages (services, towns, photos, quote form) built to load fast on a phone. It's not a big agency site, and most trades don't need one.
What's the cheapest way to get a website for my contractor business?
Do-it-yourself builders cost money every month and eat your evenings. Nailed Web builds it for you for $50 total, domain included for year one, and you own it. No subscription.
Do I need a website if I'm already on Angi, Thumbtack or Nextdoor?
Those sites own the customer and the listing. Your own website is the one place that's only you, and you can link it from all of them.
Can you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?
No, and nobody honest can. Your site is set up so Google can read it (titles, sitemap, business details). Reviews and a Google Business Profile matter a lot too.
Who's behind Nailed Web?
A small, US-based shop run by someone who spent years on the owner's side of contracting. You deal with one real person by form, text and email, start to finish.
Ready to get your site nailed down?
$50 total for your website, domain included for year one. That's it. Hosting ($5/mo) and changes after the first 30 days ($5 each) are optional. Or run it yourself.
